It has often been said that there are very few new ideas in horserace betting. Very occasionally one comes along to give us that “Eureka” moment. I have previously told you that you will be betting on the top thoroughbreds and this was emphasised at Ascot last year. On just two occasions last season the system had qualifiers in every race and this happened at Ascot. The meeting was the most prestigious of the year. On both occasions every winner was selected by The Protégé System. Of course to have collected on such bets would involve multiple selections and perms, but such bets should not be totally discounted. You will be betting on 2/3 horses in an average qualifying race. This number varies wildly with many races having only a single runner selected. It is impossible to get confused about whether a horse is a selection if you follow the very straightforward guide.
